RealCartoon3D - Versions 6, 7 and 8 comparison

So the first image (the one of the woman in a hoodie) has different seeds (random). Though similar due to the prompt, version 6 goes more "cute" in the facial lines, shiny skin, and more "perfection" in the skin. Version 7 pulls still the "cute" but it also softens the skin and color and also adds more with detail, and you will notice more "older" lines in the face. background gets more attention too. Version 8 is more "real" in the pose and skin. Eyes look more "real" as well in 8. Background has better depth of field.

In the second image (same seed on all three) you can see similar details as stated in the first compare image. Version 6 goes more saturated as well. Version 7 softens, and Version 8 just seems to do more with the eyes and brings back a bit more color from 6.

So in conclusion: All three in my opinion do well in image generation. If you like more saturated colors and more "cute" lines, then 6 might be the one for you. You want that softer less saturated look with a bit more flaws in the skin, then 7 might be a good choice. You want a little more detail in the eyes and bit more saturation too return to the image; then 8 would be a good choice.

I have found that 6 started to do well with hands and just loved the results it produced. Version 7 was made because it had been a minute since I had a chance to mess around with my base checkpoint and I wanted to see if I could improve the overall look. I was not expecting more time to mess around, and thus 8 came about because I was really enjoying the results of the messing around lol.

I am pretty sure 8 is going to be the "version" for a bit. Again, all the versions have their look and do well. It is really neat for me to look through the versions though and see how this checkpoint has grown.
