I'm leaving Civit forever becaus-- just kidding!
Earlier this month I hit the one year mark of my time here on Civitai, and it's been quite the journey.
From the early days of learning to train SDXL models in June 2024 all the way through to joining the staff in April this year, with some of the following highlights over the last two months on that side:
Annual subscriptions / cosmetics (mecha theme is still the BEST theme)
Working with Vidu to launch the Vidu Q1 model and ongoing Q1ntessential Video Contest
Entertaining, engaging and educational streams (YouTube VoDs)
June subscriber cosmetics (just you wait!)
Now I'm moving into a more limited consultative role to continue supporting the platform, while providing me more time to focus on shitposting my own creative ventures.
Introducing the Three AImigos
One project I'm excited to announce today is a social media joint venture of three of the worst minds in AI comedy: schmede, unstablegen, and myself as the Three AImigos (X / Instagram / Tiktok).
(While Civitai is still our home for AI humor, we figured it's a good opportunity/time to combine our unique comedic styles into a well-oiled shitposting machine and spread our gills a bit to see how the zuckerworld treats us.

With a bold visual style and a sharp eye for meme trends, unstablegen brings the “mashup energy” that keeps the AImigos tapped into what’s trending—and just unhinged enough to keep it funny.
Right now we're kicking things off with X and Instagram (ok, also Tiktok now), but we may expand beyond if it makes sense. Right now we're just looking to start building up an audience, seeing what vibes and keeping things fun.
