Wow! My 8th song release! That's officially two months since I first took the plunge and shared my music online! It was really, a very scary step, but everyone's kind reactions have made it so much fun and worth everything. I'm almost at the end of the first album now, only 3 left to go! After the longing and insecurity of the last song, my feelings give way to frustration, anger- when faced with doubt for too long eventually the need to break free becomes stronger than hesitancy, and this more heavy punk-rock piece is meant to capture that feeling where frustration at life's setbacks boils over the fury. Along coastal cities many natural and artificial walls known as seawalls, breakwaters, wave breakers, storm breakers, etc, are placed to dissipate large waves and prevent coastal erosion and damage to buildings. Endlessly battered by the churning waves crashing against them, these walls brace against the endless onslaught of nature's fury and protect the shoreline beyond from its wrath. Standing in the storm, feeling buffeted by the crashing waves, rage meets rage, a stubborn defiance erected to protect the vulnerable shoreline of one's fragile, inner feelings.

For those interested who might not have seen yet, my amazing friend @Eiri17 is currently running bounty contest to create characters in either the Prismaris or World of Anima- Beyond Reality TTRPG worlds, and I'm super-excited to see what people come up with! I won't bother to remove the bounty link here once it's over, people in the future can still use it to go see the event and cool characters everyone made! To be completely transparent, it's @Eiri17's bounty, to create companions in their stories written in either world, it has nothing to do with me aside from using the universe I write about as one of two possible locations, and I'm going to take part, too, but the "winners" will just be those who put the most effort into their entries and try hardest to fit the worlds chosen and stories @Eiri17 has already created, and every character gets to be "real" in those worlds together in the bounty regardless of placement! It's just for the fun of it and I hope everyone else has fun, too!

Thanks for reading, listening, and your wonderful comments! I enjoy releasing these announcements to talk a little about the song, the things I'm up to, and hope maybe somebody who wouldn't have listened sees the article notification and decides to, or can use my articles as an easy way to track down the songs later even when not on YouTube, but in the future should I keep doing them? Should I do something differently? I have not been putting lyrics in the articles because the videos have subtitles and the YouTube descriptions have the full lyrics, but would short and simple articles with just the lyrics be better? I'd like for these to be fun, and never a chore to scroll, so before the first album is over I'd really appreciate anyone's thoughts so far on how the announcement articles have felt overall and what I could do to make them better, thanks!! :D
