6000 Eyes

6000

Some numbers land like mere statistics.

And then there are those that carry memory.

To me, 6000 is not just another milestone. It is not simply “twice 3000.” It is not a badge, nor one of those little platform fireworks people watch for two minutes before moving on. 6000 is a trace. Proof that after the noise, the absence, the detours, and the returns, something held. Something kept speaking.

You are now 6000 following me.

And that, very sincerely, moves me.

When I wrote my 3000 followers post, I was still in a kind of free momentum, almost playful, driven by the pleasure of crossing styles the way one crosses countries without asking permission. I already loved abundance, visual leaps, changes of atmosphere, collisions between textures, eras, and intentions. I already loved refusing to settle.

I think that is still true.

But something has changed.

Over time, my universe has shifted. It no longer seeks only to seduce the eye. It tries more and more to install tension, doubt, a lingering idea. I still love fantasy, deeply. I have never abandoned it. It is part of my foundation. But today, I need an image to do a little more than simply “work.” I need it to leave a residue. A strange impression. A question still standing after the scroll. Something that cannot be fully consumed in three seconds.

That may be the most important evolution of all.

Before, I explored a lot.
Today, I still explore, but with a different hunger.

I am less interested in changing styles just for the sake of changing styles than in finding, within each aesthetic, a way to make people think, feel, and be slightly unsettled. Not necessarily through violence. Not necessarily through spectacle. Sometimes, quite the opposite: through silence, ambiguity, the slightest deviation, the detail that goes just far enough off course for the image to stop being decorative.

Over these past months, since my return, I have published around 500 more images. 500 images is not nothing. It is a great many attempts, a great many intuitions, and a great many useful failures as well. Some images land exactly where they should, others less so. Brilliant ideas at midnight that become mediocre by morning. Lucky breaks. Obsessions. And sometimes, very rarely, that precious feeling of having captured something larger than the original intention.

That is also why I want to thank you.

Because in truth, publishing has never been a solitary act. We often imagine the creator alone, facing the machine, their choices, their technique, their obsessions. That is true… but it is only half the story. The other half is you. Those who really look. Those who come back. Those who comment. Those who sometimes understand better than the author what is beginning to emerge in a gallery. Those who sense when a direction is changing. Those who encourage. Those who signal, by their very presence, that this work is not being sent into the void.

6000 people is not “an audience.”

It is a community of eyes.

And in a world saturated with images, speed, repetition, and industrialized fake wonder, having 6000 people choose to follow your work is far from ordinary. It is, in its own way, a form of luxury.

So thank you.

Thank you to those who have been here for a long time, through the more chaotic periods, through the experiments, the absences, the returns that were sometimes a little abrupt. Thank you to those who discovered my universe more recently and decided to stay. Thank you to those who like, to those who write, to those who share, to those who take the time—that increasingly rare time—to look at an image as something more than a simple reflex.

What comes next?

Honestly, I never know much in advance, and that is perfectly fine.

I only know that I am not done searching. Not done assembling worlds that should not be able to meet. Not done returning to fantasy with different eyes. Not done pushing my images toward something denser, stranger, more inhabited. I still want beauty, yes—but not polished beauty. I want beauty that thinks. Beauty that tells. Beauty that keeps a little shadow behind it.

So here we are.

6000 times thank you.

For your loyalty, your curiosity, your gaze, your sometimes silent intelligence, and that very particular energy that turns a simple number into a real threshold.

We continue.

And I fully intend to make what comes next even more interesting than the road already traveled.

Infinite thanks also to everyone who helps promote creators like me, supports our work, and gives Buzz so generously. A special mention goes to @Cinnadust, @Thrao, @LizArt, @Dereck_AI, @sheecuuh, @angelomaiota, @6vidit9, @Nedvus, @NJordan, @purplelady, @Daalis, @theally, @0x08, @valerie_4659, @Snilek_Robotka, and many others that I'm forgetting, sorry.

I also want to spare a special thought for a few people I valued deeply from my beginnings here, and whose presence I have not seen in many months. Some absences are quiet, but they still leave an echo, @Ajuro, @ArtifyAI, @fussypixel, @roxin282, @Daalis, ...
