Civitans! That's right, I've hung up the red panic phone for the last time, and I'm off for new adventures at the end of the month (May 1st).
This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. Civitai has been a huge part of my life for the past few years, and I didn’t want to just disappear without saying goodbye.
The Good Times...
We built a lot of weird, wonderful things together! CivChan, and the site "lore" … things that started as jokes but became part of the fabric of the platform.
Twitch Bingo was always a blast, assuming I could avoid being DDoSed long enough to actually finish a game (“They took our Clubs!”, “Granny Feet”, “the Civitai Bikini”…).
Managing the Creator Program was also a highlight for me. Helping hundreds of creators earn meaningful rewards for their work is something I'm very proud of.
And more than anything, the highlight of my time at Civitai has been engaging with the community. You're creative, passionate, and chaotic. You’ve made this place what it is far more than anything we built behind the scenes.
and the... Other Times
Then there were the (recurring) bugs, the Maintenance Mode outages, the 14 hour days, the Monday morning support ticket experience.
There were things we tried that didn’t land the way we hoped - ahem, Clubs.
And then there’s the payment processor situation. I now know far more about finance and payment processing than I ever wanted to. It’s been a challenge, and one Civitai will continue to navigate.

It’s been a privilege to play a part in the formation and direction of Civitai, and to work with so many talented people, both on the team and in the community, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the future brings!
I'll still be lurking, but if you need help post-May 1st, the usual support channels are the best place to go - you’re in good hands!
