Hey there everyone,

For those of you that thought they'ld never see me again or it would be in Windows....I did it
I am working from Linux now and windows 11 just got flushed like the biggest turd ever, and that is not a metaphor.

taking my first steps on what seems a different planet, and I still need to adjust a lot of things to make Bazzite Linux to my liking, but what I noticed so far, with a lot of effort and asking AI where everything is you can have it your way, it's not when you start out and you might think, maybe this isn't really what I wanted but then you notice you have much more granular control over every little thing there is,
e.g. windows explorer vs Dolphin: Dolphin doesn't work like explorer, and if you are used to c: dives and D:drives and knowing where everything is, like me, you get lost pretty fast, it feels like you jumped in the deep end and forgot how to swim. But then you stop and you identify what is wrong, a linux file system is different but you can name your drives and put them as drives in Dolphin, You can keep the directory structures on your data disk, rightclick and context menus need to be activated and adjusted to what you want, and bit by bit you regain control and off course you start to climb that learning curve

but as I said I am still climbing but I managed to get comfyUI working, so will be back soon.

For today I am done, just resting and quietly generating some images,
bye
