Fellow Civitaians today I found out some A**HOLES are stealing our models from CivitAI and post it as theirs on other modelsites like Shakker and such.
How did I find out? Well I am also active on Shakker and when I wanted to post my latest pony model Scotchsorcery- my lil lora tester, I got a message that this model was already posted...Like Zoinks Velma, I posted this one yesterday and I am pretty sure that it was not on shakker so I clicked the link and some loser claimed it as his own.
Now shakker has a discord and a channel just for this (so you know this happened before).
Now why would I write this article? just to rant about it? Sure I feel a little rant is in order but it doesn't solve anything, so no this isn't a rant (OK not just a rant) but a warning to my CivitAI brothers and sisters, hide yo kids, hide yo wife (or significant other I don't judge but that's not how the song goes), cuz they be stealing our models ....
Anyway be carefull look around other sites and check if they have models that are yours and if like shakker they have a channel to report it make it so
be warned my brothers, sisters and genderless siblings.
