Last month, while working on v2.0 of my XenoGASM model, I created a merge that I accidentally uploaded instead of the actual version I intended to put up. A few hours later, I uploaded the proper file, but left that other version up with a "Dark Evil" label on it. The Checkpoint was cool and weird, but it wasn't where I wanted XenoGASM to go. Then, yesterday, I merged that with the new XenoGASM v3 and started playing... and what creepy evil fun it was!

This model will probably not ever serve as anyone's Go-To Model for general outputs, but... there is enough interesting stuff going on that it will surely serve well for those looking to create some dark and creepy horror/fantasy type stuff.

Features

  • Weirdness: There were a handful of models merged in here and I suspect it was one of the older SD 1.0 ones I found on Huggingface which did it, but I haven't nailed down which one (or combination) is actually doing it. Suffice it to say, a simple prompt that doesn't cover all the bases of subject, action, style, etc. are likely to go some weird (and usually creepy) places that are often quite surprising.

  • Trends toward Gothic/Horror: If you don't have any calls for the background scene or a style - it will tend to go Gothic. Even a simple "bedroom" or "kitchen" call for a scene will tend to making it look like an old gothic house or building - while often having modern tech and appliances drawn in that style.

  • Eyes. Lots of Eyes. Watching You: While it doesn't happen so much with SFW portrait calls - as soon as you start bringing anything kinky into the mix (especially Mind Control/Hypnosis themes - but also with many other kinks), it's going to tend to draw eyeballs in the scenery (e.g. in photos on the wall or on a computer screen, or even in the trunk of a tree). Putting "(extra eyes)" in the negative prompt can (help) reduce that tendency - but in some cases, those eyes add that extra level of horror that you're probably looking for if you bothered to download and try out this model in the first place.

  • General Purpose Stuff: This model is still totally capable of doing most of the things a general model can do - all the major art styles, known celebrities, etc. And it can do it without all the horror - you just need to make sure to tell it what to do instead of the creepy stuff. So, for example, "bedroom" will tend to make a Gothic/Old Fashioned looking bedroom - while "modern bedroom" is more likely to generate something more like what you'd expect from a general purpose model like Deliberate or XenoGASM.

  • Colorfulness: One of the biggest differences between this merge and the original Dark Evil merge is the colors. While it goes Goth/Horror/Gigeresque in style and theme, it still likes to put color in there - so it's not all darkness. This can lead to surprising and fun combinations of things.

  • Mystery: I've only been playing with this for a little over a day, so I'm not sure of all the different things it's going to do. I can say with a fair level of certainty that if you download this and experiment with odd prompts... you're going to get some pretty cool stuff that you probably weren't expecting.
