SD1.5 has some excellent ripping clothes LORA's but I hadn't yet seen one for SDXL so set out to make one. Feedback is welcome as this is my first LORA that I have published.
I hope that with this LORA you will be able to target areas of tears. The model is trained on images I have created as well as some real photographs of specific (ahem) situations that involve tight clothing. I probably should broaden the training data and am again open to suggestions.
Keywords: torn at _____ (insert part of anatomy here), jeans with fly open, or button gap.
Example: Jeans torn at hips and thighs, with fly open and unzipped, tanktop torn at cleavage and shoulders
Usage: Syntax seems to work best High step counts of 50-60 seem to generate smaller, more detailed tears. I trained in the concept of "pants with fly down" which can sometimes corrupt images which otherwise didn't intend it. This seems to play well with other LORA's overall but does affect the image somewhat. I trained in the concept of torn fabric and so it does have reasonable flexibility.
You may add the words "frayed, ripped, ripping" but these concepts have already been trained to either be a) a muscular person or b) a person actively ripping their shirt apart.
If you don't use the word "torn" and just use "button gap" you will tend to get a curvier figure with tighter clothing.
