TRIGGER Word: "cartoon style of KORCSMAROS" or try "style of KORCSMAROS"
Jenő Rejtő (29 March 1905 – 1 January 1943) was a Hungarian journalist, pulp fiction writer, and playwright. His novels were elevated above mediocrity by his inimitable and bizarre sense of humor. His works parodying the French Foreign Legion, written under the pseudonym P. Howard, achieved the greatest success.
Pál Korcsmáros (Budapest, 22 May 1916 – 24 May 1975) was a Hungarian graphic artist, book illustrator, and comic book artist. Korcsmáros was able to distort the realistic style to such a grotesque level that he became the most skilled draftsman of Rejtő's novels.
The original black-and-white, ink-drawn panels were reworked, colored, and painted by Zsolt H. Garisa and Zoltán Varga, also known as "Zerge." This resulted in an incredibly unique style that you can clearly see.
