Humans Reviews

On one hand, the model itself is great for making rough, worn, realistic faces. No issues with that. On the other, this checkpoint version is incredibly erratic even with controlnets. I recommend the lycoris version, which is easily usable with any photorealistic model, because of that.

However if you like the challenge, you get the best ugly faces from this raw, undiluted beast.

I wondered why Virile Reality generated men dont look like theyre related to each other and i just realized that its cause of this model. More general models should merge Humans, its tiring seeing the same face over and over again tbh

I've been using this model constantly. I recommend everyone does if you want to get away from the cookie cutter faces you always seem to get.

I do have two critiques:

1) It seems to struggle with eyes. I end up with shadowed eyes, weird irises, unnatural feeling eye colors a lot. Often misses adding that slight twinkle in the eye that really gives a character life. It still looks great, but it's missing that extra "oomph" IMHO.

Playing around with the prompt (like adding shadowed eyes to the negative), can help somewhat.

2) Seems to favor a really shallow DoF. The ears are often blurred out for instance.
