Want realistic dresses/period art. This is a great LORA! Thank you Marielle (I adored your Midnight on SD XL as well, that was my fav checkpoint for XL).

This LoRA can be used for so much more than sumptuous oil paintings of historical women! Yes it does that (and does it well) but you can adjust your prompt to push the LoRA to modern, surreal, and even science fiction ladies. If you start using different subjects, the LoRA still adds a very emotive pseudo-historical look to the images. In addition, when I mixed it in with several other style/pattern LoRAs I got some amazing results. From dark surreal fantasy to bright punchy paintings, I am having a blast with Former Splendor :-)

As far as drawbacks go, I noticed slightly more hand problems than usual, but adding @EauDeNoire’s Hand v2 helped a lot:

On the plus side, the Flux plastic look was much reduced and there was less sameface.
