Magie_Noire Reviews

The whole Magie_Noire series is excellent - it is worth trying them all.

Magie_Noire is an interesting model. It seems to respond well to crafting terms. Most SDXL models can give decent results for embroidery, origami and so on, but I usually find the hit rate is not great unless you use a LoRA or TI. However, this model has been giving me good results without having to add anything extra :-) For more photoreal fantasy prompts the model does... something - I don’t know how to describe it, but I do know I like the results! Asking for winged entities like fairies and angels can be a pain with SDXL - often you just get one wing. Perhaps I’ve been lucky, but Magie_Noire seems to be giving me more two-winged creatures for photoreal prompts - and nice wings too :-) The model plays nice with the few LoRAs and TIs I tried, but if you use one that sharpens then generated images may be too sharp and/or halo’d... might need to reduce the weight.

I’ll need to keep this model around and try a bunch of stuff, but for the moment I can say it seems to be worth trying for “crafty” images and fantasy ones too.
